I’ve been coming to Scott Babin and Associates for a few years now. They have a very welcoming and attentive staff, as they helped me through my orthodontic procedure. I have brought my kids here and we are quite relieved when they see how received they are. I am fairly certain they will remain our dentist for many years to come

Very disappointed w Dr. Babin. Did a crown on a front tooth that ended up looking shorter than how I wanted, and shorter than the temporary crown. So now my smile looks bad and he won’t fix it bc supposedly it’s too risky to redo. Overall office communication between staff was really bad. I told the dental assistant I needed to leave on time, but word never got to the dentist & appointment ran very late. Another occasion I was numbed then left in the chair for so long the numbness wore off and I had to be given many more shots just to do the procedure 40 mins later. The dentist seems to have a “laissez-faire” approach to things that left me wondering if what I said even mattered. He is very good at the surgical procedures & knows the technical aspects well.. but my experience left me very upset. When someone cements in a tooth that ruins your smile (& can’t easily be fixed), that’s hard to get past. No amount of money can repair having to look in the mirror daily, at someone else’s unwanted choice for you.

Unfortunately after only one appointment here, I will not be back. This was one of the strangest experiences I’ve ever had. My hygienist was Ann, and from the start she told me someone else would be doing my X-rays because she is slow at them. That person did a couple of my shots then rushed out of the room. Then another person came in and took over and did another few shots and also left. Then another person came over and did more shots and left. At this point, half of the expected appointment time had passed and I hadn’t even finished the full set of X-rays. Ann said she would take over and proceeded to fumble with all of the equipment as if she’d never taken X-rays before and then she touched my mouth with no gloves on! I have no idea why I didn’t walk out at that point, but I really should’ve. She loudly complained to anyone who passed by that this was the stupidest equipment/machine she’d ever worked with. The complaining went on and on. It took her probably 10 minutes to get one shot and then she left and went and got the front desk person who came back and finished the shots. I’d been there for well over half an hour at this point and hadn’t even gotten started with the clea

Very nice attentive hygienist and kind doctor. My teeth feel so deep cleaned and I love it. They are so thorough too (which may be a pain and time sucker in the moment, but worth it in the long run). Felt like they actually cared about my data and oral health. Excited to make this my every 6 month cleaning spot. Update: THEY ARE SO CUTE. They sent a sweet welcome card!
